On November 20 2024, Amazon published an in-depth look at its $1 billion Industrial Innovation Fund and singled out just six startups advancing “Packaging Visibility” inside modern supply-chains. We’re proud that Rabot was one of the companies highlighted for our computer-vision approach to automating the pack-station.
Why Rabot caught Amazon’s eye
Packaging visibility is the next big bottleneck. As assortments grow and delivery windows shrink, operators need a faster, more reliable way to verify every SKU, insert, and label before a box is sealed. Rabot’s Physical AI platform:
Captures high-resolution video of every pack interaction and tags it with order, SKU, and operator context.
Trains foundation models on a dataset that already includes 89M+ items and 54B+ training frames across 1,500+ brands.
Surfaces real-time alerts and continuous-improvement insights that cut manual QA by up to 60% and deliver payback in weeks.
These capabilities map directly to the pain points Amazon outlined in its Packaging Visibility Innovation Challenge, hence the shout-out.
Looking ahead
Recognition from Amazon is energizing, but our mission hasn’t changed: make every pack station as smart, fast, and accurate as the most advanced robots, without replacing the humans who run them.
